Ginger has many health benefits and it is a great addition to any meal and drinks, and everyone is always coming up with a creative way to use ginger. I wanted to share this ginger beer recipe with you.
1 lb fresh ginger
1 1/2 cups sugar (brown/granulated, which one to your liking)
Peel ginger, chop and blend in a little water. Pour into large pot with water and leave to soak/ferment for 24 hours or longer if you would like it stronger. Strain the mixture. Add the lime peel and sweeten. Remove lime peel, bottle and refrigerate.
