I had grown up on sugarcane. My grandfather had a sugarcane field and I loved and enjoyed the taste of it. When my neighbor made sugarcane wine, it just brought me back.
3 lbs granulated sugar
3 joints or 3 lbs sugar cane, peeled
1 tsp yeast
Cut the sugarcane in small pieces. Put sugar, sugarcane and yeast in a clean jar; leave in a cool dark place for 9-10 days. Strain and bottle again after 2 weeks.
