Who does not love cheese, and mixing cheese and dasheen together is great.
4 lbs dasheen, cooked and sliced 1/4 inch thick
1/2 lb cheese
2 1/2 qt full cream milk
2 ozs butter
2 ozs flour
1/2 tsp white pepper
1/2 tsp vegetable tastemaker
Make a thin white sauce using the ingredients. Place dasheen in a buttered dish, making layers one at a time. Pour sauce over each layer. Cover top layer with sauce and cheese. Bake at 350 o/f until lightly browned on the top.
