The Blue Food Festival which is labelled the dasheen love feast using dasheen as the main ingredients to create appetizers, entrees, desserts, beverages and liqueurs, cooked and prepared by Tobago finest chefs and cooks; which is listed as one of the world’s best food festival by CNN. Tobago Blue Food Festival, which is held every year in mid-October, in the coastal village of Bloody Bay, Tobago, Trinidad and Tobago, Caribbean, that brings not only the local chefs and cooks together, but also the general public and all other domestic, regional and international tourists who visit our shores,
There will be live entertainment to serenade the crowd and cooks while they prepare their favourite signature dishes for Best Overall Dasheen Dish & Cook of the Day; Most Innovative Dasheen Dish; Best Dasheen Dessert; Best Dasheen Beverage; Best Baked Dasheen Dish; and Best Table Display.
Food will be available for purchase along with tons of specialty blue food items to take home like dasheen punch, wine, kuchela, cookies and much more.
