I know that I may stir away from the sustainable food theme, but I just want to say that, the beautiful, unspoiled and tropical island paradise in the Caribbean, Tobago, Trinidad and Tobago offers all culinary lovers a great taste of every type of cuisine and dining experience.
There are many great places to eat out in Tobago, in almost every village on the island there is an eatery; and one such favorite place is “Café Havana Restaurant & Bar”, which is one of Tobago’s newest and hottest restaurant and cocktail bar, which is always lively, especially the bar and lounge and everyone is treated to a relaxing open air dining area, that is just as breathtaking and breezy and inviting.
Thanks to Chef Cesario and his elite team, who is always there to welcome one and all with a warmth smile and excellent in preparing and serving many delicious cuisine and drinks and price to fit your pocket.
A few of my all time favorites and most try for all domestic and international visitors are:
Caribbean Fish Chowder – A local favorite dish served with black rum and pepper sauce; or
Seafood Salad – Grilled shrimp and the day’s fish catch with cucumber, tomatoes, onions and crisp fried plantains tossed with a creamy vinaigrette.
My best cocktails are
Green Destiny – Fresh cucumber muddled with Gin, Coconut Rum and Pineapple juice, or
Sugar Plum – Tequila and Lemon Juice shaken with ice and finished with Cherry Brand
They cater to every occasion weddings, romantic dinners, birthday parties, holiday parties and more.
