There is nothing more rewarding than making your own spicy hot sauce than buying it from the grocery store.
Planting peppers in the backyard is not enough, even for those who owns a pepper farm, just picking and placing them in the basket to go sell them at their own village stall or at the farmers market is not enough, we have to go all out and market our peppers, so why not make pepper sauce and sell it too, amongst other things.
Here is my special recipe on making homemade pepper sauce.
12 hot peppers (red, yellow, green)
4-5 cloves garlic
1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 cup lime juice
2-3 tsp salt
1/2 cup green pawpaw (peeled/chopped)
Combine all ingredients in an electric blender. Process at puree for a minute until well blended.
Note: You can leave out the green pawpaw if preferred. I just love to add pawpaw with mines.
